Here are a few pieces I have been working on. I included a picture of the octopus cover up from the previous post.
After the show “Best Ink” was aired, we saw a rise in cover-up inquiries, mostly because our very own
TJ Hernandez was a guest judge on the show. My first new client, from the new shop(I have been keeping very busy with my regular clientele), just happened to be a cover up. The piece to be covered was a classic arm band from when the client was 18years old. When people think of the word “cover up” they assume that the old tattoo will be just that, covered up, when in fact we are just disguising the old piece. The idea behind a cover-up is to draw the viewers eye away from the existing piece and out to the new addition. Most covers must be about 75% larger than the old piece to effectively draw attention away from them. Here is what my client and I are working on-

I did this piece on the owner of Revere Glass School. This tool is used to hold the glass while it is being worked with in the flame. Check out the school and the amazing art that they produce(www.revereglass.com)
I did a whole day of black and grey today. There is still a lot of work to do, but I wanted to show the progress. I have been doing a lot of black and grey tattoos lately.
I recently tattooed my brother in law, and while he was here he made a little video of the shop.
